A new year is coming. Although we are busy with year end tasks, we still arrange ourselves for social activities to “share for smile”, support the local community, especially those are difficult and abandoned.
- Phan Sinh shelter – flowers still bloom in desperation
Phan Sinh shelter is located at Bac Son ward, Trang Bom district, Dong Nai province. The shelter is taking care of 250 elder people, disabled/abandoned children, those with mental health and even those who are on the last days of their life, etc.
Visiting Phan Sinh shelter and looking at those disabled children who should have been at school with friends, now can not do anything, our team were absolutely touched.
As spoken by Father Châu, founder of Phan Sinh shelter, “this is the last place of them”, because they are unable to recover. However, Father Châu and other volunteers are supporting them, taking care of them every day with the hope to bring them some feeling of love and compenstate for their loss in life. They are exactly the flowers bloom in desperation.
Hoang Son team has visited and provided some necessities to the shelter. Hopefully with small support from us, we can bring to people there some love and make our lives more meaningful.
- Thien Duyen shelter – a location for miserable people
Our volunteer team continued to visit Thien Duyen shelter at Phu Hoa Dong ward, Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City.
The shelter is established by Mother Muoi, now 85 years old already but still full of energy and love. She is now supporting 160 people including disabled children and elders.
Our participation to created more motivation and laugh for those are living here.
Seeing their happiness, we understood that our social activities brought positive changes to us and to the society.
We believe that the trip is making them to believe the society will always take care of you. We are also grateful to you because of the moments we can slow down our pace of living and give more love to others.
Our trips will continue in the future. Hoang Son management and employees always commit our development with the development of society in general and our social responsibility is an integral party of this strategy.
