There are smiles that seem small, yet have the power to brighten an entire day. The journey “Joining Hands – For Children’s Smiles” of Hoang Son Fly Ash and Cement JSC at Dieu Phap Pagoda was precisely about finding, sharing, and preserving those innocent smiles.
The charity trip to Dieu Phap Pagoda (Dong Nai Province) left a deep and special impression on all members of Hoang Son Fly Ash and Cement. The pagoda is now home to more than 80 orphans – some only a few days old, others already grown, having graduated from university and ready to step into life with firm confidence.
During the visit, we witnessed the children diligently sweeping the courtyard. Their innocent footsteps carried both childlike joy and quiet resilience. As our team brought in boxes of gifts – rice, cooking oil, biscuits, milk, and other essential supplies – the children’s eyes lit up with simple, genuine happiness. Without words, through their bright smiles alone, every member of the delegation could feel a profound connection.
The most emotional moments came when we entered the nursery area. Some babies were only 15 days old, others learning to eat solid food, while some were still being bottle-fed. To hold, feed, and care for these infants was to touch the deepest corners of our hearts – a reminder that even the smallest act of sharing can ease the hardships these children are facing.
The atmosphere of the charity trip was both quiet and warm. Beads of sweat while carrying gifts together, heartfelt smiles as the children gathered around us – all became cherished memories. This was not merely about giving material support, but also an opportunity for each of us to reflect, to learn gratitude, to share, and to strengthen bonds with colleagues and the community.
Every hand that gives a little kindness, every heart that offers a little warmth – together they form a complete smile in childhood. Those smiles are not only the children’s happiness, but also our motivation to keep sowing seeds of goodwill along the journey ahead.
